Mike was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1951. Always a good student but not much of an athlete, he enjoyed building model airplanes in the winter with his father, a carpenter by trade, and flying them during the summer months. As a youth his biggest desire was to get his drivers license and very own car when he turned 16. From age twelve he worked hard cutting lawns, shoveling snow, washing cars and/or any other odd job where he could make some money to fulfill his dream. At age 16 he received his license and had saved enough money to purchase his first vehicle. He now had a means to get to a part time job after school and weekends to pay for the maintenance and insurance of his long awaited prize.

Off to college after high school for an engineering degree, or so he thought. Working 40 hours a week to pay for school and maintaining a B average on 18 credits took its toll. After a year and a half Mike quit school, got a full time job, started night school to become an Auto Body Mechanic and got married. Phew!

His first job was working in the warehouse for an electronics distributor. At the time of his graduation from auto body school an inside sales position opened up where he was employed. He applied and got the job. From there he was promoted to outside sales, the youngest in the industry at age 22. Today he is Regional Sales Manager for the same company.

Mike enjoys going to northern Wisconsin, fishing, building wooden ship models, making furniture, remodeling his home and bragging about his son in the Air Force and beautiful new granddaughter.
